HAFLA IN THE SQUARE: a bellydance celebration

Hafla in the Square is a performance featuring bellydancers from around the Chicago area. The Hafla is hosted by Stellaria owner Stephanie Draus, and has been held on a regular basis since September 2006. Originally held at the lovely (and sorely missed) NoFriction Cafe, in October 2007 the Hafla moved to Stellaria's studio.

On May 30, 2009, Hafla in the Square will be held at the Heartland Cafe in Rogers Park, where over three dozen dancers will be shimmying to benefit the Chicago Women's Health Center. The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $10 at the door, and all proceeds benefit CWHC.
