Writers, are you mired in doubt, avoidance or anxiety? This writing workshop is based on the idea of recovery and renewal, forgiveness and moving forward. Your commitment to a six week writing class is taking that first step. The group will work together and separately using exercises, sharing work, and finding the power to follow through. Each week will focus on revealing more about your process as a writer and give you the tools and strategies to start, continue or complete your writing dreams.
(Fiction, nonfiction, screenplays, essays, or short stories welcome.)
Instructor: Molly Moynahan.
Finding Your Voice: Writing in an Age of Anxiety
“I remind myself of this when I cannot get any work done: to live as if I am dying because the truth is we are all terminal on this bus.” Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird.
Teacher, writer and believer that art will bring us through the darkest days, Molly Moynahan will guide you towards beginning, continuing or finishing your dream project. Fiction long or short, screenplays, memoir, or creative nonfiction, this 6 week class will support, inspire and encourage you towards your own personal best. Using a variety of writing exercises and the writing workshop model, students will have the opportunity to share, critique and create. Instructor: Molly Moynahan.
